Flying Travel Accommodation
A number of our members have suggested that the ABS could help its members by collecting together places to fly to using our aeroplanes. For those that haven’t seen it, the Australian Touring Pilots Guide http://www.pilotstouringguide.com.au as well as the popular and comprehensive AOPA Guide to Australian Airports http://www.aopa.com.au/information-centre/national-airfield-directory-200809/ published every two years are great resources that we should support by purchasing a copy and also by feeding information back to the authors, who are very appreciative of updates and new suggestions.
We ask members to email the ABS Website Editor a few of your favourite fly-in destinations to list on this website.
Please send to info@abs.org.au the name of the place, a website link and what is there that you like (For example, “Brown Brothers at Milawa http://www.brownbrothers.com.au/airstrip/airstrip.aspx Great restaurant and hotel within in a short walk”).
